Wax-based candles are a little bit different from soy-based candles. They burn brighter and hotter. Take precaution and never put wax near the eyes and take all precautions - after all - you’re literally playing with fire. So, how do you use it?

1. Start by dripping the wax on to your partner’s skin from a height of about 30cm and work closer to their skin while monitoring their reactions.
2. If your partner tells you that the wax is not too hot you can bring it lower. Only do this if you are confident the temperature is safe. We suggest choosing a safe word.
3. Lastly, if the wax begins to burn or irritation occurs - stop all play and seek professional advice.
